Portofino, itinerary of an immaginari house from the Garden to the Panic room – What to see in Portofino in eight stages designed to explore the famous Ligurian village in an exceptionally “domestic” – di Francesco Marchesi – PORTOFINO (GENOA), OCTOBER 2018 – ELLEDECOR – Full Articleo here
THE DINING ROOM WITH A VIEW: To join the pleasures of the palate and the pleasures of the soul, the perfect place is the Portofino Lighthouse terrace. Of course, at this virtual venue perhaps, to look good, the roof may be missing, a small flaw that would certainly be offset by many other many virtues. Located at the very tip of a strip of land stretched out towards the horizon, this centenary lighthouse overlooking the sea, which can only be reached on foot, boasts an extraordinary terrace from which you can get lost in the immensity of an incredible panorama or in taste of cocktails and snacks made with local products.
THE GARDEN: The Gassetta Mill, an ancient mill located in the Mills Valley, has been reborn as a cultural, museum and as a super green refreshment point. Here are cultivated fruit and vegetables at zero km, hosted tastings, organized cooking workshops and created tasty products such as honey, beer or pesto. To the more British and to all those who love to live the green as a Zen moment, the mill also offers the opportunity to participate in yoga classes in the beautiful setting of land once abandoned and now inhabited by vineyards, olive groves and donkeys.
