COPPELLI’S OSTERIA
Why “Coppelli?”Perché “I Coppelli?”
The name Coppelli is derived from the fact that in the subsoil of our vineyard at the Eco-Farm a spring called the Coppelli emerges. This water is collected and used for the irrigation of our farm. Thus, we have decided to give that same name to our wine, and to a few of our locations such as Coppelli’s Wine Cellar and Grotto and Coppelli’s Olive oil press mill)
COPPELLI’S OSTERIA
A small educational farm with chickens and bunnies, a short staircase, an ancient drying room for chestnuts, surrounded by nature and renovated with a refined taste: from 2021 it hosts the Coppelli’s Osteria, a realm of tailor-made lunches and dinners both indoors and outdoors, following the “one table only” recipe.
A circondare la struttura dell’Osteria un bellissimo antico uliveto arricchito da giovani ulivi, dove gli animali avicoli vivono in free-range.
Surrounding the building is a beautiful olive grove integrated with young olive trees, where our poultry ranges free.
A charming kitchen garden surrounds the Osteria: collect vegetables, fruit and herbs together with our Chef, who then, in a tailor-made cooking lesson, will teach you how to prepare and cook what was selected from the garden using the most appropriate recipe. Just Imagine the quietness of passed times, the light that filters through holes in the drying room, drawing arabesques all around you. You’re in the perfect place, at the perfect moment.
Attention must also be paid to the production of our precious extra virgin olive oil. The olive grove is special and we can follow the stages of oil processing, from raw material to bottling.
GREEN NEWSNOVITÀ GREEN
In 2024, our commitment to environmental sustainability has intensified. We have achieved Carbon Neutral certification for I Coppelli, eliminating the carbon impact of our Osteria, vegetable gardens, olive groves, and vineyards. As a result, our products, such as Ü Portufin wine and I Coppelli’s Olive oil, are now carbon-neutral.
Following the principles of a circular economy, we emphasize local products in our menus, using ingredients directly from our gardens to celebrate the excellence of the territory. Additionally, waste management, through compost production, allows us to further reduce our ecological footprint and improve the efficiency of our operations.
These are some key examples and points that enable us to move forward and continually improve our project. Our goal is to increasingly integrate sustainable practices and actively contribute to the protection of the environment and our territory.
