For an aperitif – and not only – with a breath-taking view on the Gulf of Tigullio, there is a special place: the lounge bar Il Faro di Portofino (the Lighthouse of Portofino), at the most “extreme” and suggestive point of the promontory, reachable only by foot with a short hike from Portofino’s piazzetta till the base of the lighthouse. It is open from morning till sunset, an ideal moment to taste different cocktails, such as the now famous La Portofinese Spritz, with prosecco, soda and limoncino produced by the company itself, accompanied by a platter with Ligurian delicacies and home-made gastronomic products.

For a more intimate experience, from spring 2022 there is also Il Faretto (the Little Lighthouse): a small green eden with a dozen tables immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, in the shade of a fragrant lemon grove, which can also be booked in exclusivity.
